NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has put his North Carolina lakefront mansion up for sale with an asking price of $12.9 million. The 15,000-square-foot home sits in a gated community overlooking Lake Norman in Denver, N.C., about 25 miles north of Charlotte.

Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, bought the mansion for $7.5 million in 2012, according to the Charlotte Observer. The seven-bedroom home contains eight full bathrooms, a private beach, an indoor gym, a game room, plus an outdoor pool with a hot tub and swim-up bar. The mansion is in the gated community of Norman Estates.

The 180-degree views of Lake Norman can be seen from the home, which sits on 1.3 acres and includes an elevator, a boat dock, travertine and walnut floors, and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces.

The home also received a $1 million kitchen renovation, adding two marble waterfall islands, sensor-touch cabinets, a black Dacor stainless steel range, and Miele appliances. Heather Gibbs of Corcoran HM Properties represents the home’s sale from Busch.

Busch, 38, is a native of Las Vegas and has lived in the home with his wife, Samantha, and two children. “The owners are just ready to move elsewhere after living in the home for so long,” Gibbs told the Charlotte Observer.

Busch drives a Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. He also races for Kaulig Racing in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series and his own Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series relaunch.
