FOS and Prominent LA Sports Agency Team Up

Front Office Sports, a leading educational resource connecting aspiring sports business professionals with those currently working in the industry, is excited to announce the FOS Internship Placement Program. FOS is proud to have partnered with a prominent LA based sports agency to bring you the inaugural internship of the FOS Intern Placement Program. As the industry continues to grow, and interest of working in sports rising as quickly as ever, FOS is dedicated to providing a streamlined solution to internship needs across the country. With our continuously expanding network of rising stars in the industry, we aim to serve as a simple way to help save teams, leagues and organizations time, money and all associated factors that go into the hiring process, while also providing students more opportunities of displaying their skills throughout the sports industry. This program will identify, qualify and place students in various internships across the sports business industry and all across the country.

The details for the first internship are below.

Internship is unpaid, but you must be eligible to receive college-credits.

Company And Position Description

Our client is a company whose daily motivation is to be the absolute best sports agency in baseball. They represent some of the best players in the game today.

As an intern, you will be immersed in what is required to be a part of that team. You will learn how to be a professional within the sports industry, specifically as an advocate for athletes.

While you will be exposed to all areas of the business as needs arise, your internship coordinators will be responsible for ensuring your time with them is a fruitful and rewarding experience. They will ensure that you learn the value to the company and clients from every task you are assigned. They will guide you on your journey preparing for the professional sports world.

All internships are for-credit positions where it is required that you coordinate with your academic department to arrange and follow their guidelines to receive.

Responsibilities

Below is a sampling of some of the projects interns will work on.

Performs duties in support of various departments. May include, but not limited to:

o Assisting with charity event logistics

o Marketing research

o Baseball analytics research

o In-game information collection & dissemination

o Business mailing organization

o Social media monitoring/tracking

o Assisting with office management/coordination

Qualifications:

Pursuing degree from accredited school

GPA of 3.0 or higher

Be a junior or senior, but other class levels considered.

An interest in the sports industry.

General sports knowledge. High baseball IQ preferred.

Excellent oral, written, communication/presentation skills.

Social Media Savvy preferred, but not required.
