Resale tickets on SeatGeek for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas are listed at an average price of $1,051, according to data shared with Front Office Sports.
The average price on SeatGeek is down 34% from last year’s Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Denver between the Tampa Bay Lightning and champion Colorado Avalanche, the first NHL Finals played at full capacity since the pre-pandemic 2019 season.
This year’s Finals feature the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers, both looking for their first championship in franchise history. According to resale marketplace TickPick, this year’s Stanley Cup currently ranks as the fourth-most expensive NHL championship series on record, with an average purchase price of $911.
TickPick reports that the average purchase price for game one is $979 – 1559% more expensive than the Panthers’ season average purchase price ($59) and 781% more expensive than the Golden Knights’ season average purchase price ($111).
The all-time most-expensive Stanley Cup Finals, according to TickPick, came in 2019 when the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues had an average purchase price of $1,270.
