Amazon’s 2020 “Thursday Night Football” slate kicks off on Oct. 8 with a slew of new features and personnel.

Returning to Thursday nights for its fourth year after recently signing a three-year extension that runs through 2022, Amazon will again make the games free for everyone — globally — on its live streaming platform Twitch.

For the third season, viewers watching on Prime Video will be able to pick between multiple commentary streams. As in years past, one option will be the team of Hannah Storm and Andrea Kremer and one will be the default Fox broadcast with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. New this year will be a “Scout’s Feed,” which features former NFL scouts Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah, along with seasoned sports host Joy Taylor.

Former NFL receiver Andrew Hawkins will join broadcaster Cari Champion to call the Twitch livestream. That stream will also include appearances from Chris Long and Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, who is out for the season with an ankle injury.

Amazon will no longer have the option for a U.K. English feed this season, however.

Also new this year will be the ability for fans to watch on-demand replays during games on Prime Video, using Amazon’s “X-Ray” feature. X-Ray includes stats specific to any given play, including time to throw, running speeds and trivia.

Hosted by Long, NFL Network’s Kay Adams and Next Gen Stats analyst James Koh, “NFL Next”  — formerly Prime Video’s pre-game studio show on Thursdays — will switch to Tuesday nights; Hawkins will also join the show as a co-host. The show will include top moments and stories from the prior weekend’s games, “amplify the social media pulse of the league,” and give a fantasy football-centric take on the upcoming week’s games as well as an in-depth preview of the upcoming “TNF” matchup.

In conjunction with NFL Films, Prime Video will also produce original content exclusive to Twitch that will air throughout the week leading up to the “TNF” game.

Amazon confirmed that as part of the extension, it will have exclusive rights to stream one regular season game this year in the second half of the season, which will be announced at a later date.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
