Year in Review: 2019

fos_logo

As we head into both a new year and a new decade, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on this past year and set the tone for what’s to come in 2020 and beyond as well as thank you, our readers, for continuing to be an advocate for us, for sharing our work, and for continuing to ask us to do more and be more.

We believe that in order to cover a segment of business like sports, the publishers doing the reporting should be one of, if not the most innovative company in the entire industry. From merch collabs to forward-thinking social and digital content, as we grow, we want you to look at us and say “if FOS can do it, we can too.”

I personally wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you. You have bought into our brand, what we are trying to do, and the approach we are taking to execute it. As I mentioned in the post that went along with our rebrand, our goal is to get everyone inside and outside of the industry to not just know us as Front Office Sports, but “FOS”. While we have so much more work to do, 2019 was a step in the right direction.

Because of you, we have grown our staff from one full-time employee at the start of the year to 14 full-time employees at the start of 2020.

We know you don’t owe us anything, but we are thankful for your attention, comments, willingness to help us deliver great, original reporting and constructive criticism when we need to tighten things up.

We hope the video gives you a good look into our business as a whole and provides you with more context of how and why you can and should be engaging with us across all of the different ways in which we reach our audience.
