Grant Horvat Among YouTube Golf Stars Joining Wasserman’s The Team

YouTube Golf stars Grant Horvat and the Bryan brothers are joining the big leagues of sports and entertainment talent representation.

Provisions Golf

YouTube Golf stars Grant Horvat and the Bryan brothers—Wesley and George—are joining the big leagues of sports and entertainment talent representation.

Provisions Golf, the longtime agency of Horvat and the Bryans, has been acquired by The Team, the recently rebranded powerhouse firm founded by Casey Wasserman.

With more than 4 million combined followers on YouTube and Instagram, the golf influencers will become a key part of The Team’s talent roster that includes golf stars Nelly Korda and Jason Day, plus top players in many other sports like the NFL’s Maxx Crosby, the WNBA’s Paige Bueckers, and the NBA’s Klay Thompson.

Horvat and Bryan Bros Golf will fall under The Team’s content creator division, which already includes popular influencers like Ben Kruper, BustaJack Golf, and Divot Dudes, among others.

The Team’s pro golf division also includes notable names like the PGA Tour’s Rickie Fowler, Tony Finau, and Viktor Hovland, LIV Golf’s Cam Smith, and The Team also runs some PGA Tour events, including the Texas Open and Grant Thornton Invitational mixed competition with LPGA players.

Provisions founders Joe Gilliland and Josh Morgan are joining The Team as SVPs of creators and will continue to work from Dallas and Encinitas, Calif., respectively.

Gilliland is a college friend of the Bryanss and has worked with them since 2013. Morgan is Horvat’s longtime agent and joined forces with Gilliland in 2021.

With golf content creators on the rise in recent years, Provisions started receiving inbound interest in February 2025 from agencies interested in a potential acquisition.

“We went back and forth with a number of groups,” Gilliland told Front Office Sports. “So we had a pretty good understanding of what the market was.”

The decision ultimately came down to The Team and one other agency, according to Gilliland, who declined to share specific financial details of the transaction.

“When we first were having conversations with them, they immediately opened up the door for some of our guys to go and film with some of their biggest talent and say, ‘Hey, this is what it’s going to be like,’” Gilliland said. “That’s huge—getting the opportunity to bridge the gap between traditional golf and the digital space and bring those together to help unify some of those stories.”

The evolution of how golf—traditionally a slow and often sleepy sport on TV—is being consumed digitally made striking a deal with Provisions a no-brainer for The Team.

“It’s really giving a new life to the sport,” The Team president of global talent representation, Jason Ranne, told FOS. “Joe and Josh are one of very few groups in the world who recognized that early and developed an expertise in it and then started to help clients capitalize on it.”

Provisions only has one other full-time employee beyond Gilliland and Morgan, and a modest client list outside of Horvat and Bryan Bros Golf, which does include managing some professional golfers’ social media channels.

That will all change under the new ownership.

“This is going to allow us to really grow and step into that staffing role that’s going to be really fun,” Morgan says. “And yes, we are going to take on more unique clients.”

Horvat and the Bryan brothers have previously competed in various content creator competitions organized by top pro tours, like the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic and LIV Golf’s The Duels. Wesley Bryan, a former PGA Tour player, remains suspended for competing in the LIV creator event.

This year, Horvat and the Bryan Bros are launching Your Golf Tour, a series of creator tournaments with $1 million in prize money. The move follows the recent trend of a shift toward more competitive events from influencers, as opposed to lower-stakes content simply for entertainment.

“I think at the end of the day, people, whether they realize it or not, they still want to watch good golf,” Morgan says. “But I think it’s watching good golf from their favorite creators.”

The new frontier with Horvat and Bryan Bros Golf comes as several other golf influencer groups launch their own new ventures.

Good Good Golf, which is represented by WME, is helping revitalize the old Golf Channel reality competition series Big Break, which will culminate with a golfer earning a spot in the inaugural Good Good Championship PGA Tour event this fall. WME is also the agency for Paige Spirinac.

Barstool Sports’ Internet Invitational is forming plans for its second edition this year after its debut last year paid out $1 million in prize money.

The Peoples League is in its second season with a franchise model that includes celebrity team owners like former NFL receiver Victor Cruz and rapper Ja Rule.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
