Zac Brown: Superfan With a Backstage Pass

Zac Brown has been everywhere in sports lately, from March Madness to Sunday Night Baseball to now headlining the fan fest at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House. He is a self-described lifelong UFC obsessive with a real relationship with Dana White, and this event means something personal to him beyond the stage. Brown has been omnipresent in front of sports audiences for months, but how much of that was by design and how much of it grew out of something else entirely?

And after two years locked in at the Sphere in Las Vegas building one of the most technically ambitious live shows ever produced, what did he actually take away from that experience? Then there is his recent Survivor cameo, which hit differently for people who follow that show closely.

What does a guy who has played the Masters, the Final Four, major league ballparks, and the UFC all in the same stretch have to say about the intersection of music, sports, and live experience?

A new weeknight TV show breaking down the business and culture of sports, premiering September 14th.
