Netflix Adds RG3, Kay Adams, Mina Kimes, Manti Te’o to Christmas NFL Studio Show

The streaming giant’s lineup for a pair of Christmas games is coming into shape, with four high-profile studio show additions joining the play-by-play voices and analysts who will be calling the games.

Netflix has added multiple high-profile studio analysts for its Christmas Day NFL doubleheader, sources tell Front Office Sports.

Former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III, NFL Network analyst Manti Te’o, ESPN analyst Mina Kimes, and former NBC analyst Drew Brees are poised to serve as analysts for pre- and post-game shows around both the Chiefs-Steelers and Ravens-Texans games, sources say. They will handle the pre-game and post-game analysis as well as downtime between the two games.

Kay Adams, host of FanDuel’s Up & Adams, is expected to lead studio coverage from a set in Los Angeles. Adams previously hosted Good Morning Football in New York.

Griffin was laid off by ESPN in a cost-cutting move in August. “Yes, I was surprised,” he told Rich Eisen about ESPN’s decision. He previously attended the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s NFL docuseries, Receiver. Te’o joined NFL Network in 2024 following an eight-year NFL career. He now appears on GMF.

We previously reported Brees and NFL Network’s Scott Hanson will contribute to the streaming juggernaut’s international coverage of the two games, which will be streamed to more than 282 million subscribers in over 190 countries. I’m hearing Brees could also make appearances on the domestic feed.

On the game side, Ian Eagle, Nate Burleson, and J.J. Watt are expected to call the early game between the Chiefs and Steelers, according to The Athletic, while Noah Eagle and Greg Olsen are on tap to call the late game between the Ravens and Texans. The New York Post previously reported Netflix was interested in hiring Adams and Kimes.

Netflix, which is paying the NFL $150 million for the rights to the two games, could reveal its full announcer lineup as early as Monday. The streaming giant could not be reached for comment.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
